What is Checksub?

Checksub is a French platform for the automatic translation and subtitling of professional video and audio content. Thanks to 6 years of research, Checksub offers its customers the industry’s most advanced quality and exclusive options such as script import, voice cloning and lip syncing. Checksub aims to make media content accessible and inclusive, breaking down language barriers.

What is your value proposition?

Checksub’s translation and transcription quality is superior to anything else on the market. The integrated approach to subtitling and dubbing in a single platform also saves customers a great deal of time. And last but not least, the online editor makes it possible to fine-tune the AI-generated result.

How is AI an opportunity for the learning industry?

Artificial intelligence offers many possibilities in the learning industry. It will play a major role in the creation of digital learning programs. But the human element must remain at the heart of this creation. And Checksub is precisely the way to increase the impact of learning programs created by learning profesionnals.

This makes it possible to spend more time creating the initial learning program and then use Checksub to translate the content into several languages, thus increasing the scope of the work carried out.

AI will also make it easier to comply with certain legal constraints, such as the obligation to subtitle video content.

Many companies still don’t take the time to subtitle their video content, either because they don’t have the time or the resources.

However, when you’re a deaf or hard-of-hearing employee, not being able to access some of the content can be devaluing and give you a feeling of exclusion.

But with solutions like Checksub, companies will be able to make all their content easily accessible. For example, in the case of online learning, a script is usually written when the video is created. Checksub can retrieve this script and automatically transform it into a subtitle. The quality is excellent, and there’s not even any need for proofreading on the part of the company. It only takes a few minutes.

What are the next developments?

Checksub’s interface will soon enhanced with a team concept to facilitate collaboration on translation and subtitling projects. We also plan to enable the creation of voice-overs from video files without an audio track, opening up new possibilities for video production. These enhancements are designed to reinforce our commitment to providing a complete, easy-to-use solution for all our customers’ translation and subtitling needs.
