The term "learning company" has that vintage, retro aftertaste that characterizes 2019:
How can we fail to see as a set of weak signals 1) the return of 90s Adidas sweatshirts, 2) the comeback of 80s beats in pop music, or 3) the breakthrough of first names like Marcel, Gonzague and Héloïse?
There can be no doubt. 2019 will be retro or it won't be. Not to be outdone, another not-so-young concept has resurfaced in recent months: that of the learning organization.
Developed in particular by Peter Senge in his book "The Fifth Discipline", the notion of the learning organization links management innovation, continuous improvement, acceptance of failure and knowledge sharing.
Throughout this first issue of Learn Assembly Papers, you'll discover different visions of this topic. Our white paper on learning companies offers an overview of the market. Interviews with our customers Elisabeth Belois Fonteix (Orange), Nicolas Glady (Essec Business School) Alenvi or Alexandra Lange (AG2R La Mondiale) help to link this concept with corporate reality. And if you want to think outside the box, we suggest a detour into permaculture. Finally, don't forget to download our white paper on the learning companies.
